Distributed Energy

The vast majority of the world's energy consumption is lost in the form of waste heat.  When we centralize power generation, finding a purpose for this waste heat is difficult.  Thermalfrost uses this waste heat for District Cooling, Micro-Grid and Mini-Grid applications.

Renewables are a growing source of energy in distributed applications for which Energy Storage is a known challenge.  Great advancements are being made with batteries, but storing electricity is only a small portion of the energy that needs to be stored. By freezing Phase Change Materials (PCM), like water into ice, Thermalfrost offers efficient and popular Thermal Energy Storage (TES) representing a method to store most of the energy.

Naturally, Thermalfrost technology can greatly reduce operating expenses by reducing electrical consumption for cooling.  The video above shows how capital expenditures can also be reduced, because your District Energy plant can be much smaller.
